The first thing I would like to share...
Hand Sanitizer Spray:
I bring this in my purse where ever I go! I spray our hands after we go into public places, touch doorknobs, after I pump gas, or handle pocket change. I spay shopping cart handle with it before I touch it. It also works as an air freshener, purifying the air. It is super inexpensive and super easy to make, let me give you my recipe...
one plastic spay bottle (you can buy these at target or walmart for a dollar)
fill with witch hazel, vodka, or isopropyl alcohol. I like using vodka because it is the most effective! These solutions will emulsify the oils!
- 5 drops rosemary oil
- 5 drops of orange or lemon oil
- 5 drops tea tree or Melalueka oil
- 5 drops clove oil
- 5 drops Eucalyptus oil
I like to make my own essential oil capsules. BUT, make sure the essential oils that you use are for internal consumption. They will tell you on the packaging if they are safe to ingest.
- 1 drop lemon oil
- 1 drop peppermint oil
- 1 drop lavender oil
- 1 drop clove
- 1 drop rosemary oil
- 1 drop cinnamon oil
I like to also take vitamin C and vitamin D3 along with this flu bomb and I generally take the protocol every couple hours and it seems to be very effective for combat against the onset of the flu!
I have been concocting this tea for the past 6 years! It is very tasty and the kids usually like it. I usually brew a big pot of it and we sip on it all day long and it really helps boost the immune system for fighting power! Here is my recipe for a bulk batch, and it is also a great gift to give friends during the winter cold seasons.
- 1 lb chamomile flowers
- 1 lb hibiscus flowers
- 1 lb chickweed
- 1 lb Echinacea tops
- 1/2 lb cinnamon bark chopped
- 1 cup fenugreek seed
- 1 cup goldenseal root
Toss the dry tea together and seal it into zipper baggies or glass jars. You can put some in tea bags if you want to brew one cup at a time. To make a 1 quart pot, use 1/2 cup of tea added to 1 quart of boiling water. Steep for about 5 -10 min. I use a french press! That works great. I just put 1/2 cup and pour my 1 quart of boiling water over the tea and then press it after it steeps. That way I do not have to strain out the pieces. You can also you a coffee pot if you have filters.
For more enjoyment, I add a little cream and honey! That makes it really cozy!
This is one of my favorites! Garlic is a natural antibiotic but it very spicy and hard to get down. This is the solution I have come up with over many years of trial and error! I used to just chomp the garlic whole in my mouth and WOW, that is crazy hot! I would have to chase it down with all kinds of things with tears and gagging. And to get the kids to take their garlic, well, honey and garlic does not appeal to my kids. But salsa? Oh yeah!
They say to actually kill bacteria or virus, you need to eat about 12 cloves of garlic a day! Yeah, that scares not only the germs away, but also the family! Her wis a great way to take a lot of garlic in a fun way...
- 6 cloves garlic minced fresh (it is very important to eat the garlic fresh after chopping it because it has enzymes and will do more to fight!)
- 1/4 cup sour cream (the sour cream cuts the burning!!)
- 1 cup salsa
- Sprinkle a little grated cheese for extra fun!
Sounds absolutely yucky but it works! If you have a source of good raw milk and can make kefir, you can actually drain the curd off with a cheese cloth so that you are left with just the liquid, it can be milky looking or clear. That whey is POWERFUL!
Just give a person with the stomach bug a teaspoon full each hour. It is more palatable if you chill it. It will knock out the stomach flu by replenishing the gut with strong strains of bacteria. Gut health is so vital because 80% of your immune system is in your gut.
